About the event

4th of July is a social drama focusing on the death of the American Dream. The game faces stereotypes about the poor, backwater part of America, and shows the human face of those ridiculed by popular culture. The players star as the inhabitants of a trailer park - poor Americans riddled with problems. It’s a story about hope, looking, and finding your place in both your country and society.
How to get the role?
Interested in the theme and want to play in 4th of July? Awesome! Check out the Larp Guide and the list of characters, then fill out the sign-up form by November 2nd. In it, you’ll share your game preferences. There’s no "first come, first served” rule, so take your time to think about what you want from this larp. The directing team will review all applications and match roles to players. On November 10th, you’ll find out whether you’ve got the role (in which case you’ll need to pay the full ticket price or the first installment by November 20th) or have been placed on the waiting list.

The ticket price (420 EUR) includes:
a nuanced story delivering a wide range of experiences and emotions
full-fledged characters with rich backstories and relationships to play on
a rich plot exploring significant themes and numerous planned events
an immersive trailer park with fully functional cabins or trailers on exclusive
in-game food available at a diner during the larp, off-game supper on Thursday, and breakfast buffet on Friday and Sunday
scenography, necessary props, special effects and help with the sfx make-up
background characters, logistics and technical service, player support by 4th of July crew
photos from the larp and in-game portrait of your character taken by a professional photographer.

You can pay for the ticket in 4 monthly installments.
Sales policy
If paying in full:
a full refund is available within 30 days of ticket purchase in case of withdrawal.
after 30 days, a refund of 50% of the ticket price is applicable.
no refund will be granted if withdrawal occurs less than 30 days before the event starts.
If paying in installments:
If you cancel the larp before completing payment, you have two options:
receive a refund of the amount paid in the last month, or
transfer/sell the ticket reservation to a person from the waiting list, who will continue the payments.
Failure to meet the payment deadline is considered a resignation from participation in the larp.
In the event of larp cancellation by us:
You will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
